CNY ‘post phoned’ reunion dinner- 31st Jan (Tues)
31st Jan, that was the last day of my exams! (About time) Wohoo! After my 'Instrumentation & Control and Industrial Practices' paper, I went back home to prepare for the ‘overdue’ reunion dinner which was going to take place at Jason & Judy’s place. We were going to have steam boat (Steam boat in UK, how fancy!=p). As Audrey and Gab finshied their exams 4 hours ealier than me, they went to town with Juvi to get some steam boat food stuff. So I didn’t have to prepare for anything really, just went back and had a nap to recharge myself after a month’s worth of intensive revision.
Hmm, lets see, those who attended the dinner were Jason, Judy, Gabriel, Juvi, me, Victor, Audrey, Joyce, Mike, Patrick and Fairy. A lot of people were missing coz most had flown back home to celebrate CNY with their families.

The gurls

The guys
We had lots of food (LCCF-ers are always generous with their food contributions). There were 2 steam boat pots- non spicy and Tom Yum.

Round 1- The table wasn't big enough for all the contributed food
After eating our fill, we resumed our current fav. Games- Jingga and Heart Attack! (Apparently, ‘Mafia’ isn’t on our top list of favorite games anymore) This time, the loser had a choice of being vandalized on the face with either eyeliner or a gooey flour mixture.
Before starting the real game, the 3 future engineers- Victor, Gabriel and me did a series of tests to the Jingga tower. We tried performing ‘Risk analysis’ to different tower formations, finding Center of Gravity and tried to establish direction of momentum too.
Conducting Stability tests & Risk analysis
The main target for that night was Victor (Wang) as he was the only guy with an ‘untouched’ face from our previous game night. Patrick was being targeted as well due to the fact that he was just being irritating. =p Whenever it was someone’s turn to pull a block out, Patrick would always go ‘Hiya, don’t need to try, you know u’ll lose’ or ‘Boo! Ah hah! Look, its falling!!!’ you know, just irritating stuff like that. As such, when Patrick lost, everyone got their revenge! Muahahaha…..
The poor souls who got vandalized this time round were Mike (Twice), Patrick, Gabriel, Victor, Audrey and Judy (I didn’t lose this time! *grinz*)
The victims
After the games, the girls went upstairs to take a look at Judy’s wedding gown for her upcoming photo shoot in Loughborough. We helped her get into her dress and I realized that a wedding dress is very very uncomfortable. There were so many buttons to do (50 plus I think). It just looks as though one is unable to breath in that heavy white dress. *shudders* I know a wedding is every girl’s dream but I didn’t know the amount of suffering that she has to endure for that to come true….

Group shot 2We reached home at 2am plus. Audrey came to stay over at our place as both Audrey and I had to take a coach down to London later at 8.50am. We baked white chocolate chip cookies, packed, chatted till finally hitting the pillows at 4am… yawn. We could barely wake up to catch our coach in the morning.
